rob ,i do appreciate all the work you have done and the men's club is in way better condition with your input on the board.but you keep on saying things have changed.i've witnessed the same kind of mistakes.so i must address a few things that early in this year of so called change, that have failed let's take the biggest failure the NEPL SR QUALIFIER what was that debacle what happened in that tournament was ridiculous. no one knows what division there qualifing for. how could you guys not get that straight.you had players put up $25.00 to qualify for 3 different division players qualify think they make the team but to find out later they have x'd because there are better players then them in the field .now after celebrating their success they have to give up there spot because you guys screwed up.i would have told you to pound sand! we all make mistakes if your gone to take the hard line on mine and my partners take them on yourself and your partners

Why are these public blogs being selectively erased?

Why are you always in the midddle of controversy.
Just follow the protocol
Sign up in pro shop, get a tee time and play golf. Oh and make sure your playing partner,(s) paid thier dues.

MAC

This is not a whining blog
2 reasons for deleting that page
1)Personal attacks on members will not be tolerated
2)Too many anon- posts.

The blog was for tournament info, course info and maybe some positive feedback.
GOT IT. Hope this clears things up.

Mr. popup just does not get it.The purpose is to put the best teams together and i think that is just what we did. Here is a portion of the format right from the N.E.P.L. tournament manual.60 year old and 70 year old players may qualify for any division at their respective member clubs, but must choose either Regular, Super or Legends division for Tournament proper. and that is what they did
If only four (4) players from a member club show up for the Tournament proper, they will automatically be placed in the Regular Division and that team will NOT be represented in any other division.
If only five (5) players from a member club show up for the Tournament proper, four (4) will play in the Regular division and the remaining player, if 70 years of age, will compete in the Legends division as an individual. His score will also count for the Legends team because the format is Better-Ball. The player, if 60 years of age, will be placed in the Super Senior division.

Speaking of seniors, the field is set for the New Haven Open on 6/18.Numerous major(State and USGA) winners in this elite field. Muni could be ripped up. Would suggest 67 will win this event although, many top players have been brought to their knees by this "pitch and putt" course. If Chris sets tough hole locations and doubles cuts and rolls em out, look for 69 or 70to take medalist. Jerry Courville Jr.(USGA mid-am champ '95 and US Open and Masters participant) was up Sunday and had 170 into 4 and 150 into 11, so it was reported. Alling's own Gene Cufone will be in the mix as well..
