Happy New Year

N.H.G.C. members:

 

I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season!  The board of directors is in the process of putting the final touches on our annual letter, as well as, the 2013 tournament schedule.  Your feedback is always important to us, so if you can think of anything you would like to change, modify, etc. Please let us know.

 

Here is a preview of some of the modifications to this year’s Tournament Season:

 

1. This past year we lost a N.H.G.C. ambassador and our current Board of Director President, Frank Avallone.  We have dedicated the Opening Day Red Ball in his honor, so please participate if available.
2. Prizes will be awarded by handicap divisions now (i.e. 0-9, 10-16, 18+), we will pay out 2 Gross & 2 Net spots per division. 
3. Pardee Cup, Mannie Savakis & Club Championships will have a start date and a finish date (i.e. Pardee Cup Matches begin May # and finish October #)
4. Senior age for the Joseph Tyndall Sr. Club Championship & Sr. NEPL is now 50.
5. We would like to have a Jr. Division for some of our events, so if you have children, grandchildren, please encourage them to participate.The Jr vs. Sr will now be Jr/Sr vs. Jr/Sr.  WE WERE TIRED OF GETTING OUR BUTTS KICKED!!! This event will also be a 1 day event (September 29)
6. SAVE THE DATE! 2013 Shoreline will be hosted by Alling Memorial GC on Sunday September 15^th. 
7. We had some instances where members were being signed up by other members for events that required tee times & pairings, and not showing up.  If you do not show up for an event that requires tee times, and have not informed a member of the tournament committee, you will be DQ’d from the next event.  Please only sign yourself up

 

We are also  looking for dedicated N.H.G.C. members in good standing to join some of our committees (i.e. Tournament, Handicap, Fundraising).  You do not need to be a member of the Board of Directors to be involved.  Please let some on the Board know if you are interested.

 

If your email address, home address has changed, please let us know as soon as possible.

 

We would also like to have a list of telephone numbers for each member, in case we or another member needs to get in touch with you (i.e. Club Championship match).
